We appreciate how you feel when your 'babies' start pre-school. For many it will be the first time they have left your side. We are not only qualified, most of us are mums ourselves and we aim to make the transitional period as easy as possible for both of you. You are welcome to pop in and visit us any time, please just give us a call beforehand so that we can arrange any necessary paperwork in advance for you and arrange for a member of Senior staff to show you around. If you have any problems or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We run a 'Key Person' system at Clocktower. Children are allocated a key person during their time with us who has been trained to observe and record your child's development. You will be invited to Parents Consultations throughout the year, which will enable you to discuss with your key person how your child is progressing. The final record goes to the Reception teacher (with your permission) when your child leaves us to go into mainstream education. You will receive a copy also.
The aim is to get as much as possible out of each child during their time with us and ensure that they are well on track for the first part of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
